SCOLA international news and internet source joins forces with EKU
Welcome SCOLA to the EKU community

Thanks to the hard work of Kevin Reinhardt and the generosity of the International Studies office, we are gearing up to introduce SCOLA to the EKU community

The Department of Foreign Langauges and Humanities, along with the International Studies office is excited to introduce SCOLA international tv and internet news and resource center to EKU.

The following message is from SCOLA Market Manager:

Welcome Eastern Kentucky University!!

I would like to take a moment to introduce this wonderful new service to the campus!

SCOLA is a non-profit educational organization that currently provides programming from more than 100+ countries in 90+ languages. With your SCOLA ARCHIVAL rights you now have the ability to edit, embed, re-record and store SCOLA programming for as long as the university remains a SCOLA affiliate. This includes archiving clips into your campus E-brary, WebCT or Blackboard. Faculty and students now can download the clips easily onto their own laptops, iPods or watch on campus Smart Boards for fresh, exciting new course room content.

SCOLA services include:
 World TV Online
 International Radio
 Foreign Text Periodical Archives
 “On the Street” Video Archives
 People & Places Photo Archive
 Insta Class Service

SCOLA Internet services make it easy for faculty and students to access online clips and are available in video and audio formats for simple downloads, embedding and even POD Casting through iTunesU!!

As your SCOLA representative, I appreciate ALL comments, questions and additional information that you can provide. I like to have as many contacts on campus as possible, please stay in touch and let your students know I am open to all questions. My opinion is the more people know about SCOLA the better.

I am looking forward to working together.

Sincerely,

Leslie Parker Bryant
