We are pleased to offer a Certificate of Conversation and Culture in Japanese . This Short Certificate is offered through the Department of Foreign Languages and Humanities for students wishing to study the Japanese language and culture. The Certificate allows the student to provide documentation of their studies to potential employers and/or learning institutions.

The requirements include:

Certificate in Japanese Course Guide (15 credit hours)
Prerequisites:
JPN 101 and JPN 102 (or equivalent)
6 credit hrs
Requirements: JPN 201, JPN 202
6 credit hrs
  FCC 227 Foreign Culture/Conversation: Japanese
3 credit hrs

A grade of "C" or higher is required in each course for credit towards the Certificate.
Four courses can be used for general education credit (Gen. Ed. 03, 04, 07, 08).
